This rug is handmade from recycled plastic yarn that is showerproof. Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is a highly recyclable plastic resin. Currently, a large percentage of soft drinks are packaged in PET plastic bottles. The recycling process involves breaking the plastic back into its original monomers, where it can be spun into yarns. The resulting thread has a similar look and feel to cotton. Suitable for indoors and outdoors.
